Joining the POA
The POA is always keen to take new members, however because the group doesn't portray an elite unit doesn't mean our standards are any lower than the other WARS groups.
The age criteria for WARS is any recruit has to be at least 20 years old. The POA has no maximum age. If you can still carry a rifle you are half way there!
The POA uniform is a mix of national types, but this doesn't mean you can wear what you like. We strive for authenticity and if original items cannot be found recruits will be directed to a reputable supplier. Speak to a member of the group for advice!
You also don't need to obtain everything all at once and unlike our German co-beligerants we don't need one of everything.
Also unlike other Axis units the POA use Russian as a first language. If you can speak the language great, if not basic drill and commands do get taught. Joining us is NOT an easy option, but we are the unit for you if you are looking at a challenging and different re-enactment hobby.
